I have searched many years for a good Vibrosonic, and finally have landed this absolute ripper. These vintage Fender amps are a favourite with pedal steel players, but I fell in love with a borrowed one many years back. They are essentially a Fender Twin Reverb with a delicious single 15" JBL D130F Orange Frame speaker instead of the 2x12" configuration of the Twin. The D130F is a beautiful speaker!

The Fender Vibrosonic is my favourite Silverface Fender amp (they were only made during the Silverface years, with the original 100 watt model produced between 1972 and 1977, when they went to the ridiculous 135 watt rating). I have yet to find a nicer, deeper sounding amp for Jazz and overall clean playing.

Pots date this amp to early 1974.

It is in amazingly good condition, obviously having been well cared-for by its previous owner. A major reason for its pristine condition is no doubt the heavy-duty fitted padded vinyl cover which the amp came with (see the 'more pictures' link below).

I plan to keep this amp for my own use). A big part of that decision is the fact that I have also sourced a rare Fender Vibratone (Leslie 16) cabinet to match it, and paired they are amp heaven!
